A vision is the picture of tomorrow that we see today. God has given us the creative and imaginative power to visualize things which are out of sight.
First when we have a vision, then we have a mission. Without a vision, there is no mission. Without a mission, life has no purpose.
It is important to take time and do your brain work by developing a concept of the future you are desiring. When you have the concept, your heart and your energy will flow into its fulfilment.
It is a tragedy of life not to know where you are heading to. We must define two goals to remain focused: life goals and eternal goals. These two goals must be defined if we want to be focused on.
Steps To Take
Make a decision: The process of making a decision begins with making a concept. The Prophet received the instruction to „write the vision and make it plain on tablets“ (Hab 2,2).
God did not write it down for the Prophet who inquired about the future, rather he committed the Prophet to engage himself in writing down the solution.
Visualize your Goal: The process of visualisation is to make something hidden to be seen. Nobody can believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself.
If you don’t show what you can, nobody will know what you can do. You must let the world know what you want and why you are here in this planet.
So Prophet Habakkuk received the instruction to make the vision of the future he received to be readable to all. The concept should be boldly written, that anyone can read it, even while running!
VISION MUST BE WRITTEN IN GAINT letters. That is how to visualize your dream. Let nobody be in douth of what your life is about. Let everyone know what your life is about!
Every cell in your body must be yearning for your dream if you want to make it real. Nothing should stop you.
Meditate and Pray It Through
Meditation is a spiritual praxis: The praxis of meditation is to enable you to synchronize your dream, ambitions and goals with God. You compare yours with God’s and align yourself.
There is a divine purpose for our existence on earth. If we seek God, He will make his eternal plans know to us. Our Lord Jesus was continually connected to Heaven (John 5,19-20.30, 6,38).
Prophet Habakkuk was keeping a watch, keeping himself on the rampart „to watch and see what God will say to him“ (Hab. 2,1). We have received timeless instruction on how to plan the future in Proverbs 3,5-7 and Psalms 119+11.
Build Confidence: Best plans amount to nothing if you don’t believe in yourself and in your God. To run successful with the vision, you must have confidence in the vision you have cast and in God.
Securing your future dream is always a matter of living by faith. There is a connection between your vision and faith life (Hab 2,4).
Conclusion: To run with the vision, we need to conceptualize and visualize our dream. We need to pray it through and believe in them.
